This 17.82 acre property is the site of a former commercial nursery, and could be productive again in the hands of the right steward. A brand new gravel roadway was established in 2023. Two of the larger shade houses still remain at the site, each about an acre in size, and both overgrown and somewhat reclaimed by the natural growth of the Puna rainforest. Hawaiian Electric says there are no utility poles fronting the property; grid power is currently unavailable. An additional pole could be installed at cost to an owner to extend power lines, or you can install off-grid power generation.
