StarWind is a luxurious honeymoon/vacation cottage featuring king-sized beds, full kitchen, ocean-view deck with sunken Jacuzzi... perfect for the ultimate honeymoon or romantic escape. A second bedroom can accommodate families with children or two couples traveling together. The tropical garden-patio has a barbecue, Tiki torches and a view of sunset over the ocean. Relax and enjoy exquisite beauty, tranquility and total privacy. You will not see or hear another person unless you intend to, because no other guests share any of your space or amenities, and StarWind is protected by the surrounding terrain and tropical foliage.
StarWind can comfortably accommodate 4-6 people. There is a king-sized bed in each of the two bedrooms; all bed and bath linen is provided. Comfortable air mattresses are supplied when additional beds are required.
The master bedroom has windows facing the garden, the ocean and the rain forest. The second bedroom looks out to the garden, Mt. Haleakala volcano and the rain forest. Recessed cove lighting and sconces are equipped with dimmers for creating atmosphere. Both bedrooms open onto the ocean-view deck with sunken jacuzzi.
The cobalt-blue glass-tiled master bathroom has a deep shower / tub which can comfortably soak two.
There is a fully-equipped laundry room with supplies for your use.
The living room features views of rain forest and ocean. Its entertainment center includes digital satellite video, DVD, VHS and six-speaker surround sound. CDs of local island music are supplied.
The full kitchen has a bay window opening to the garden. The black granite countertops contain tiny crystals which sparkle like the night sky.
The patio garden is lush with exotic ginger and heliconia blossoms. And if you find ripe papayas or bananas within reach, help yourself! A barbecue and charcoal are provided, and Tiki torches add atmosphere after dusk.
The deck and whirlpool-spa offer a spectacular 180-degree view sweeping from the ocean, across the rain-forests of Haiku Valley, to the 10,000 foot summit of the volcano. Watch sunset over the ocean or gaze at the Milky Way spanning the entire night sky.
