5B's first floor location makes it easy to unload the car and invites you in with views of the ocean from the entrance. Here we are just 2 minutes from Ekahi's ocean front pool and Keawakapu Beach. We not only see the ocean, but the sound of waves lulls us to sleep at night. The view when you walk in the front door stops you in your tracks. It shouts - Hawaii!
On the lanai, the view just gets better. This is where we eat, entertain and spend our days relaxing. From here we've enjoyed the sunset, watched whales and dolphins play, and spied on the snorkel boats heading to Molokini.
We've done some remodeling to the 1160 square feet and opened up the lanai which gives us room not only for dining but also for my very favorite Hawaiian 1940's comfortable reading couch. What a way to spend an afternoon! The view from Ekahi 5b continues to change so feel free to ask us to email you a picture of the most current view.
Our living room is very spacious and sports an eclectic collection of island furnishings. The entertainment center hides the TV/VCR, DVD, CD and Stereo set up.
Always thinking of our guests, a digital safe has been installed... great for your wallets when you're off to the beach.
We both enjoy entertaining our friends, so we've opened the kitchen to the rest of the living area. Now we are always part of the fun and even enjoy ocean views .
Of course, the kitchen is fully equipped... we even leave out some of our serving things. Two bar stools make it easy to chat with the cook.
Our bedroom is another space that has been remodeled. Besides a king size bed, it has it's own TV, desk and entrance to the "reading room" on the lanai. New plantation shutters and crown moulding make this a special space. A spacious separate dressing room and recently remodeled tile bath (photo) with walk-in shower complete the bedroom suite.
The full second bath (also recently remodeled) has a large dressing room with lots of closet space. This really affords maximum privacy for that second couple or the kids. Did I mention there is a very comfortable queen Murphy bed in the living room?
